I love Chai tea and have been experimenting with chai flavoured smoothies lately. This is a green variety perfect for a morning energy boost. Did you know that the ingredients in Chai delivers a bunch of goodness? The spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and vanilla is known to reduce cancer risk,  prevent colds, relieve PMS, boost metabolism, reduce bloating and increase energy so let’s have some more Chai in our lives!


Serves 1:

-25 g cashews

-1 Medjool date

-1 cm cube fresh peeled ginger

-1/4 tsp nutmeg

-1/2 tsp cinnamon

-1/2 tsp vanilla

-1/4 tsp cardamom

-1 Banana

-1/2 cup coconut water

-1 handful baby spinach

-A few ice cubes

First mill the cashews and date in a blender then add remain ingredients in a high powdered blender for 1 min or until smooth.
