I know…….  it’s a hard one to pronounce, it’s a bit like [kai-sah] with the ‘aj’ sounding like ‘eye’ , let’s not even start with my maiden name Stål, Humphreys is a lot easier! As you might might have guessed, I’m a Swaussie, a Swedish Aussie!

I grew up in Stockholm and arrived in Sydney as a 20 year old looking for sunshine, beaches and hot Aussie surfer dudes! I was meant to stay for a year but 19 years later I’m still here, now married to that hot Aussie with two crazy, energetic kids!

I don’t mean to sound like I’m perfect (trust me I’m still working on things….) but although my life as a full-time working mum is pretty hectic, I truly live my life with loads of energy, positivity and an abundance of health in a body I love.

HOWEVER, THIS CERTAINLY WASN’T ALWAYS THE CASE,

A COUPLE OF YEARS BACK I WAS NEGLECTING MYSELF AND MY HEALTH

AS A RESULT I WAS:

♥  Constantly feeling stressed and finding it hard to switch off and focus

♥  Getting every cold and bug the kids dragged in through the door resulting in months of feeling unwell

♥  Feeling bloated and sluggish with the baby weight refusing to budge

♥  Always feeling like I lacked the time to do anything for myself

♥  Having that nagging feeling of being stuck in the corporate hamster wheel wondering if this was it

♥  Just generally feeling a bit blah, bored and stuck but not really knowing what to do about it

CAN YOU RELATE TO THAT?

I was trapped in a vicious circle of feeling so low on energy that I couldn’t be bothered to look after myself. I knew I should exercise and eat healthy, but I couldn’t find the time or the energy. As a result, I constantly got sick, I had cravings, and always felt stressed and foggy.

I lost my passion for my job and generally felt unfulfilled both at work and in my life. I realised that if I didn’t change something, everything was about to fall apart and I just couldn’t afford that.

Have you found yourself in a similar place? Believe me, I know how you feel and it is not a great place to be in. However, there is a way out of all this.

There is a way to find energy, happiness, health and weight loss in your life – and it’s actually a lot easier than you might imagine.

A change for the better

Realising that taking a 3 month long holiday, laying on a beach sipping cocktails just wasn’t going to happen – I couldn’t just stop or dramatically change my life, as I’m sure you can’t either unfortunately – I went back to my Scandinavian roots.

Scandinavians are the healthiest and happiest in the world despite living in a place that is seriously cold and dark most of the time! So, I decided to find out their secrets (other than good vodka!)

I thought back to the way I grew up and realised that there are some distinct health and lifestyle “concepts” that the Scandinavians live by – concepts that I had so easily taken for granted as they were just part of everyday life; not some “secret formula” that you had to follow.

That’s when I realised the key:  make healthy living part of your everyday life, rather than something you have to “do” or have to “fit in” or “start”. Simple, right? Maybe, but how do you transition your life into “simply being healthy”?

Well, I took the main concepts of the Scandinavian diet and lifestyle and developed a simple step-by-step lifestyle program that really works!  It helps time poor women find energy, lose weight, stress less and have more fun all without majorly changing anything in their lives.

Over time I have developed this into my signature program The Swedish Solution.

Don’t worry, I’m not saying we should all shed our clothes, jump in a sauna, drink vodka and go skinny dipping (although that sure makes you pretty happy!). However, I will provide a simple step by step formula for healthy living that’s easy to implement into your life whether you are a Swede, an Australian, an American, or wherever you are from!  What’s even better is that this really isn’t hard to do – no crazy diets or extreme exercise regimes or not being allowed to do certain things or having to do other things, instead, just:
